The 2024 litter of Farm Collie pups have arrived.
Farm Collies are a recreation of the original type of Collie found on farms in the UK and N/A, before Collies split into two breeds the Working Border Collie and the Family pet and show Rough Collie.
Farm Collies are like an Appendix QH or Anglo Arab or Warmblood, in that the original breeds used to create a breed are combined to make a specific type of equine or in this case Collie dog.
These pups are a 50/50 mix of Rough and Border Collie.
The sire is a CKC Reg Rough Collie, from health screened parent dogs. He is more of the Old classic style Collie with a broader muzzle and head and rounder eyes. He has an impeccable temperament and is a white Sable colour.
The Dam of this litter is a Working type, minimum fringe coat, tri coloured Border Collie. She had a breeders, DNA health screening, prior to be being bred and was completely clear. Her sire is a Registered ABCA tri colour working male and her Mother is a working Black and white female, both have fringed long haired coats.
The Farm collie is a little larger than a border Collie and is a good watchdog, without a biting liability, often found in driving Aussie dog mixes.

The year old male, who came back to stay at the farm for a time, was a real up front coyote chaser. Farm Collies can be outside in farm yards, if properly introduced to and monitored until 2 years of age (Adults) with poultry and stock as many do not have the go, go, go, go, desire to work stock every waking moment. However, many Farm Collies also known in N/A as Working Farm Collies, do help Gather stock when ASKED to help, as both the Rough and Border Collies came from working/gathering sheep dogs.

This is our female's 2nd litter, with her 1st litter being 2 years of age. The families who have the 1st litter LOVE their dogs, with 5 of the 6 pups going to families with children and teens. The 6th pup lives with a Mature woman on an acreage near Nanaimo. She was a Border Collie owner 2Xs before she got her farm Collie from us, and LOVES how attuned to her the dog is, rather than watching for something to start running every second, they are outside together as her previous Border Collies did.

Puppies come with 1st Vaccines, deworming, micro chip, veterinarian exam and a lifetime return contract if you must rehome our pup. as well, if we are home, we will kennel your pup for short holidays, where you can't take your dog.

These dogs are for active families, who include their dog(s) with, their outdoor family activities, they can be in town or an acreage with a secure, dog proof fence, or on a farm, with a way to confine young dogs, (kennel, yard, shop, boxstall in barn etc) for their protection, when you're not home, until they are adults or if you live close to a main road or highway.
