The N.P.H.S. will hold its September meeting on Thursday the 11th at 7:30 p.m. at the Cultural Centre. This meeting is open to everyone. The subject for this month will be Shrubs, selection & care. Also this month is the childrens sunflower contest, open to kids 1-16 yrs. There will be prizes awarded for tallest sunflower, and for largest head measured across. Please bring in the the plants without the rootball, and they may be folded if necessary! Judging for sunflowers will be at approximately 8:00 p.m., children do not need to be in attendance to enter. The meeting will also feature the fall plant exchange, so feel free to bring in divisions or unwanted plants, and take some new ones home! Raffle with great prizes, bring your toonies.
