The Five Elements Qigong Set is a short moving set. Done slowly and mindfully, awareness on the breath to help balance and strengthen the body.
This set can also be seen as an introduction to Tai Chi as it resembles the slow, even movements and internal focus.
Five Elements Qigong is an ancient Qigong practice that is a way to open the energy systems of the body and harmonize the organ system. It focuses on harmonizing energy and enhancing overall vitality and balance.
One learns to direct one’s breath, relax the mind and create deeper awareness through a series of simple repetitive movements.
Proven useful for healing many diseases and reducing stress, practicing qigong can help give a deeper sense of inner peace and harmony.
Internally qigong can work by massaging the organs and strengthening the inner force. Externally, it involves movement of the limbs and body which will help cultivate balance, co-ordination, flexibility and strength.
