Qi (Chi) is a Chinese term used to refer to all types of energy. It is innate energy found in all living things. In the body, Qi is also known as your bio-energy or bio-electricity.ely, Qigong (chi gong) can be translated as the study of Qi.

Qigong most often refers to the art and science of using body, breath, posture, movement, and/or sound to cleanse, refine, accumulate and circulate Qi in the body.hat are the benefits?

Qigong is movement and body/mind relaxation practice that harmonizes the body’s own rhythms to naturally strengthen & circulate blood, oxygen & Qi.

Qigong is a mental focusing exercise, a breathing exercise, and a stretching exercise.

When all aspects of our life are embraced and brought into balance - from our diet to our daily activities - Qigong's true benefits can emerge.

Practicing qigong will also help give a deeper sense of inner peace and harmony.

It relieves mental scattered-ness, tension and stress.

Internally qigong can work by massaging the organs and strengthening the inner force.

Externally, it involves movement of the limbs and body which will help cultivate balance, coordination, flexibility and strength.

What will I learn in the class?

You will be learning sets of qigong for morning and evening,

  • qi circulation,
  • sets of qigong for the heart
  • and a completion of the medical qigong.
  • Also included will be a variety of qigong meditations for relaxation.

These simple yet powerful exercises can help prevent illness and improve overall health and well being.
