In a game that featured lots of hits, and plenty of runs, MPO took care of there round one opponent CDR thursday night.  MPO pithcer Hunter MAckay seemed to struggle to find the zone, and when he did, CDR were there to collect the hits. However, MPO bats were hot, getting home runs from Matt Alexander, Mike Gardner, and Darren Goulet paving the way to huge run support for there struggling pitcher.  Brian Lewis and Matt Shuya's bats were hot for CDR picking up hits almost every at bat in a losing cause.  Up next for MPO is the winner of the CCS and the Capers series.  The winner will play MPO in the final next week hoping to prevent MPO from taking there third straight league championship.
