I am seeking full-time, long term position within your company

I am currently a plant operator at a Natural Gas Processing deepcut facility.

I deal with contractors and maintenance workers daily. We work independently and as a team. I have been gaining more experience daily working with natural gas compressors, engines, separators, heat exchangers, slug catchers, heat medium systems, tank farms, pigging, valves, turbo expander, demethanizer tower and more. I am not an expert but I do everything I possibly can to gain more knowledge everyday so I can better myself both on the operating and maintenance side. I am currently working on my 4th class power engineering aswell.

I am a registered 2nd year Heavy Equipment Technician Apprentice with 5000 hours recorded in my blue book. I have held many maintenance type positions over time and have excelled and thrived over the years as I have gained vast amounts of experience.

Along with my mechanical background, I have experience operating vacuum, dump/gravel, water and snowplow trucks as I have a class 1 license. Operating a front end loader, D6 Dozer, forklifts, skidsteers and more.

I have worked in the construction (both industrial and civil), oil & gas, oil sands and mining industries for 14 years. I have experience maintaining, repairing and servicing construction/oilfield rental equipment, heavy construction equipment, trailers, trucks, Natural gas compressors and engines, various brands of indirect fire/flameless heaters, UTV’s, pickups, directional drills, underground mining equipment and more.

I have always been open to doing whatever needs to be done in the workplace which gained me a lot of experience on a lot of different equipment and systems. I am Goal orientated, and achievement based. I am always striving to excel at everything I do. I did a lot of work for companies on the side or on days off to increase my skill set.

I believe my strong work ethic, ability to think on my feet to solve issues immediately, and sense of independence will be beneficial to your company. Due to how bad the fire season started I felt obligated to use my wild land fire fighter training and gain employment on a crew. I spent a month on the Siphon Creek wildfire outside Fort St John. Eventually snow and rain hit hard and helped suppression efforts. We tackled every aspect of wild fire fighting like using drip torches, controlled burns, initial attack, clearing hot spots, patrolling and travel by helicopter.
