Description : Kikinaw Energy Services is currently accepting resumes for:

HSE Officer

Working location is Tumbler Ridge/ Chetwynd
Kikinaw Energy Services is looking for an experienced HSE Officer (5+ years), preferably with experience in the construction industry. Candidates living in Tumbler Ridge/ Chetwynd area will be given preference, but other options will be considered. This is a temporary position.

Main duties and responsibilities:
● Assists in carrying out inspection of workplaces and equipment and takes necessary action to ensure compliance
●Updates & monitors safety inventory list
●Coordinates and participates in safety meetings
●Responds to worker/ employee concerns and complains, while reviewing and advising on OHS forms (hazard assessments and HID/BBO)
●Liaise between field staff and management
●Assists in preparation of various reports, documents and forms
●Stays up-to-date on client and current OH&S regulations, communicates changes in client requirements to field staff
●Files HSE-related documents and tracking statistics
●Strives to maintain and improve all company HSE programs set in place for personal and organizational compliance

Qualifications:
●5+ years HSE administration experience, preferably in construction industry
●Proficient in MS Office (outlook/ word/ excel/ power point)
●Good oral and written communication skills
●Good organizational skills
●Working knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation
●Valid driver’s license
