Congratulations to Laura Leonard, recently crowned Miss Rodeo Jasper 2010

Laura currently lives and works in Fort St. John, B.C. She is 19 years old and has spent all of those years living and breathing a western mountain life. In addition to involvement with horse 4H, a riding club, for two years. She has been a member of the Chinook Riders and has participated in Gymkhana. Laura hails from a rodeo queen family having three cousins who have also been Miss Rodeo Jasper.Laura’s has family ties in Jasper and within the outfitting world. Her grandfather was one of the pioneer outfitters in Jasper and was honoured at the Jasper Heritage Rodeo in 2007.
She is very thrilled to be crowned the new Miss Rodeo Jasper 2010. She’s excited to begin her duties as queen and looking forward to representing the Jasper Heritage Rodeo and community. She’s especially looking forward to rodeo week and all the fun activities and volunteer work that go along with it.
